Wrong ways round and sing and dance off

This is a simple traditional dance with singing. The tunes are traditional, and one day we might agree on the words; you might like to see how many versions you can recognise.

Feeling frail and a little hung over
But we still can dance and sing
That't all right on a Saturday night
But Sunday is a different thing

That's the doggerel we use to start the dance. The tune is great fun to play, and we emphasise the sticking parts (on the As) by playing seriously and simplicity staccato. The Bs are richly decorated and come as a welcome contrast to the formality of the As. We have asked that the caller shouts loud and clear when it's time to break into singing Fare Thee Well for the dance off. In case we miss it. Most of the band confine themselves to barking "Fare the Well" in between the lines of the song.
